Gameplay & Skills: The gameplay utilizes a “layered puzzle” mechanic; some cards sit in the upper amber layer while others are in the lower layer. You must clear upper-layer cards to expose the ones beneath for matching. Paths must navigate around impenetrable “tree gum” blocks. The “Paleontology Shovel” skill pack includes: “Weathering” (clears all semi-transparent cards in the upper layer), “Resin Heating” (causes lower-layer cards to float upward), and “Fossil Identification” (marks all dead-end combinations that cannot be directly matched). As you advance from level 3000 to 5000, the complexity increases from two layers to five, creating a three-dimensional matching challenge.
